Author/editor English-German wanted [freelance]
The dictionary editor/author we are looking for will carry out editing work as co-author of an existing bilingual dictionary of Internet and Telecommunications terms to be published online and on CDROM. Activities would be according to pre-defined instructions from Translex. Payment is negotiable and will be for each individual entry edited or (as co-author) based upon a royalty percentage for each copy sold.
Candidates must have previous experience in lexicography and with working with terminology databases. Editing work must carried out with the utmost accuracy. In-depth knowledge of the subject is essential.

Dictionary editor/author NE-DE wanted [freelance]
The dictionary editor/author we have a vacancy for will take the lead in authoring one of our existing online technical dictionaries. Payment is negotiable and will be for each individual entry edited/translated/authored, or royalty-based.
Candidates must be natives of German and have previous experience in lexicography and with working with terminology databases.
In-depth knowledge of technology is a requirement for this work. Previous work experience as a dictionary editor or author must be demonstrated by references and/or by published work.
The author in question will receive both payment and additional royalties on completion of the work. This author will be working as executive editor on the German edition of the Comprehensive Dictionary of Industry & Technology, in close collaboration with the editor-in-chief.

Patent Translators wanted [freelance]
We are currently seeking the services of experienced patent translators [freelance] DUTCH-ENGLISH for ongoing work for major patents offices.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous experience in this field, be native-speakers of English and have a broad technical knowledge or education.
Selected candidates will be asked to perform a translation assessment test before final acceptance by the client.
